چکیده

Nowadays, aquatic pollution is one of the most important global challenges, due to discharges a wide variety various hazardous materials from different activities which have significant environmental, economic and healthy impacts. Industries related organic dyes onsume large amounts water contribute significantly growing problem pollution. The current study describes conversion plant wastes into activated carbon sphere incorporated sulfonated polystyrene (AC/SPS) for adsorptive removal Rhodamine B (RhB) Congo Red (CR) in batch process. prepared were characterized by techniques such as XRD, FTIR, FESEM, TEM, BET-BJH, TGA. AC/SPS weight ratio 10% was used novel adsorbent RhB CR remediation. Batch adsorption experiment been studied investigating effect contact time, dose, initial pH, temperature. maximum efficiency onto under optimized conditions estimated be 34% 98%, respectively. In addition, it has found that Freundlich model provided appropriate fit both dyes. Based on thermodynamic study, proven process endothermic spontaneous. change entropy 190.59 65.40 J/mol K dyes, kinetic revealed followed pseudo-second order pseudo-first models,

The Perlite-calcium Alginate-activated Carbon Composite as an Efficient Adsorbent for the Removal of Dyes from Aqueous Solutions

To remove dyes from wastewater, the perlite-calcium alginate–activated carbon (PCA) composite was prepared by a simple method. This composite was characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM, and BET techniques. A high capacity of PCA was observed for the adsorption of some dyes such as methylene blue (MB) and methyl orange (MO) from aqueous solutions (1111 and 909 mg g-1). The best results were achieved at...

Removal of basic dyes from aqueous solutions by activated carbon prepared from Tamarindus indica fruit shells

Activated carbon prepared from Tamarindus Indica fruit shells has been used for the removal of two basic dyes, namely, rhodamine B and malachite green from aqueous solutions. Freundlich, Langmuir and Redlich-Peterson isotherm equations were used to fit the equilibrium adsorption data and the isotherm parameters were evaluated. The Langmuir monolayer adsorption capacity was found to be 3.1 mg/g ...
